A bit of a story here. I won't go into all the details, but we booked the 114 Day Pacific Circle Cruise for January 2027 to obtain some significant discounts and benefits by booking onboard. We also purchased some other rewards package we included instant upgrade to Captain's Circle Elite States. Andre Wasserfall, our Future Cruise Specialist, who took care of us, replaced my Platinum Medallian with an Elite Medallion. My wife needs 50 more cruising days to get up to Elite Status which will happen on our 114 Day Pacific Circle Cruise. However, if one member of a couple has Elite Status, the other person can go to all the events that the Elite Member is invited to.
During this cruise there were 5 ships that would show up at most of the same ports that we stopped at. There were two Princess Ships, our Royal Princess and the Sapphire Princess. There were two Holland America Ships, an NCL ship and a Celebrity ship. Our most recent cruise before this one, a 32 Days South America Cruise, was on that same Sapphire Princess. The above left photo is of our Royal Princess.
Our daughter and her husband walked all the way into Downtown Vancouver. Barbara and I just walked part of the way and then turned around and headed back to the ship. We've been to Victoria a few times before so really had no desire to walk all the way into Downtown. Besides, since it was after 9pm, we expected most things except some restaurants and bars would be closed.
