Princess Patter Daily Guide

Hobart, Tasmania, Port Guide

Port Shopping Guide

We decided to just stay on the ship today and enjoy the empty ship to ourselves with only a few other passengers also staying on the ship. Originally the ship was only supposed to stay in Hobart until 8pm but the captain extended the shore time until 10pm. It should only take about one and a half days to cruise back to Sydney, but there won't be room at the dock for us until Wednesday morning, March 18, 2020. Thus we are just going to take our time cruising slowly back to Sydney giving us 3 full days at sea! We visited Hobart before when we did an Australia / New Zealand cruise in 2009.

100 Free Internet Minutes

Princess gave everyone 100 free minutes of internet so that passengers could contact family, friends, and others to let them know the rest of the cruise beyond March 18 was cancelled and that they would be coming home early.

A Military Boat?

This boat kept wandering around the harbor and passed by our ship many times.
