Views From The Singapore Flyer

XD Theater at the Singapore Flyer

Gear up for a multi-sensory experience as you race through snow-covered mountains, blast through the glacial landscapes of the Arctic and more at this 10-seater motion simulator.

Singapore Food Treats at the Singapore Flyer

Visitors can sit down to local favourites including Bak Kut Teh, Chicken Rice, Laksa and much more. Located conveniently at Singapore Flyer, which is a short walk from Promenade MRT station, Singapore Food Treats offers great local cuisine minutes from the Central Business District. Situated on Level One at Asia's Largest Observation Wheel, there is plenty for visitors to do when they dine at the new food centre.

Or you can just grab a bite at the "7-11" or "Subway" also located on Level One of the Singapore Flyer.

WTS Travel Bus Tours To Malaysia Attractions

WTS Travel has a ticket office at the Singapore Flyer offering day tours to attractions in Malaysia such as: Hello Kitty Town, Legoland, Thomas Town, and Angry Bird Activity Park. These attractions are in Malaysia, a nation that is just a short drive from Singapore. (Note: "Hello Kitty Town" is reported to be closing at the end of 2019 due to lack of tourism.) Next time if we ever visit Singapore again we hope to visit some of Malaysia as it is so close to Singapore.

Helix Bridge

After departing the Singapore Flyer we walked over the Helix Bridge to the Marina Bay Sands. The Helix Bridge, officially "The Helix", and previously known as the Double Helix Bridge, is a pedestrian bridge linking Marina Centre with Marina South in the Marina Bay area in Singapore. Pairs of coloured letters "c" and "g", as well as "a" and "t" on the bridge which are lit up at night in red and green represent cytosine, guanine, adenine and thymine, the four bases of DNA. The intentional left handed DNA-like design, which is opposite of normal DNA on earth, earned it a place in The Left Handed DNA Hall of Fame in 2010.
