Our Carnival Miracle shipped docked next to the Carnival Splendor. The Carnival Splendor had
just come through the Panama Canal in the opposite direction of our cruise. That ship is too
big to fit through the old canal and thus had to travel through the new canal that is not as
historic as the original century old canal route and locks.
The beach at the port of Puntarenas, Costa Rica.
Entering the Sky Way Tour through the Costa Rica Villa Lapas Rain Forest.
Walking over the Sky Way pedestrian cable bridges and through the Rain Forest.
If you click to enlarge the first photo above you will see a stream of leaf cutter ants carrying
leaf pieces back to their nest. We ran into several of these streams and tried to avoid stepping on them.
A preserved historic Costa Rica village.
Click to enlarge the above photo and you will see 2 iguana on the roof.
Jungle Crocodile Safari:
In one photo above you can see the head of a very large crocodile.
